#DidYouKnow Before the building was a hotel, it was called The Black Prince Public House and was built in 1934/35 as a roadhouse style pub. The Black Prince Public House was a popular ‘giggling’ venue, where there used to be a ballroom before it was turned into meeting rooms, and some of those who played there include Acker Bilk and his Jazz Band, the Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton.
